Hello everyone and welcome new subscribers,
Happy Labor Day!
Labor Day was made a national holiday in 1884 by President Grover Cleveland. It was unanimously passed and signed into law in an attempt to quell harsh feelings after the deaths of a number of workers at the hands of the US military and US Marshals during the 1894 Pullman Strike.
Labor Day in current times is symbolic of the end of summer, and often celebrated with festivals, parades and rest. For many though, it remains a national tribute to the American worker who made this nation what it is today.
From our family to yours, we hope your holiday was fun and safe. I'll leave you with a thought for the week. If you made NO changes to your current situation, what would your life look like, one year from today?
Have a happy and prosperous week!
To Your Success,
Ali Kendrick
